For the purposes I needed it, I thought a cheap, department store version would work just fine. I was wrong. When I tapped the keys with the mallet, they didn’t play the notes they were supposed to.

I recently attended a music concert at my daughter’s primary school. During one particularly up-tempo number, I was struck by something that happened.

Since the end of October, $5 from all sales have been going towards these kits for children in palliative care, so that they can enjoy making music with their families and spark a little musical joy in their precious lives.

We at Tiny Tones are thrilled to launch The Lily Calvert Music Therapy Kits in partnership with the Lily Calvert Foundation . The program aims to spark joy from music and encourage families to explore music therapy through donating musical care kits to children who are in a palliative care program all across Australia.
